Watch VH1's "I love the 80's Strikes Back" I think the Icky Shuffle is featured in 1988. Whoop-dee-do. Oh, and the "Monster Mash" I can't believe everyone used to do that. What a country of followers we are. Look at Ashton Kutcher and those horrible trucker caps. Now they are the "in" thing...moreso than Verizon's "in" network.

IMHO Trucker hats are only fashionable if you are a trucker. I hated them when I was younger and I hate them now. But yes, we are a country of followers. This is no where more apparent than in the "punk" scene which used to be the underground. Kids dressed weird, had weird hair and listened to (or formed) weird bands. Now you can see all this Good Charlotte, Sum 41 "punk" crap on TV and it's cute kids in trendy "punk" cloths with well-styled & dyed "punk" hair playing pop music. When all this stuff started to go down I hung up my plaid pants and my leather jacket, started growing my hair out, took out my tounge stud and one of my lip piercings and took it back to the old school, Ramones-style. Now pretty much all I wear is t-shirts, a pair of Levis and Chuck Taylor Converse shoes (or Dr. Martens... I couldn't give them up.) Hey! Ho! Let's go!

With regards to the Speakerphone in the car...

Try having it in the clamshell case (or leather case, this works for me), open, and clip the case to your visor. This will aim the outside speaker at about your forehead, and should make it easy to hear who you're talking to, and be heard.

Let me give my 2 cents...I bought the Audiovox 9500 in June 2003, and it has been PERFECT. Speaker is fine, reception is magnificent, quality is good. My only complaint is the earpiece...you have to find the "sweet spot" on your ear. Also can sound tinny at times. But it's a real good phone (Toshiba).

Do not hesitate for one second to buy the 9900 (although you may want to wait for a rebate or price drop)
