But Verizon is supposed to do such extensive testing of their phones? Isn't that why they take so long to be released? Isn't that why I am still waiting for the Kyocera Slider when USC, Metro PCS, and Virgin of all carriers have already released this phone?

I just don't understand how with all of the extensive testing, such a bloddy cluster f*c& can occur.

Yes I did see it, I think that is where I first saw the phone was pulled. I had a slight interest in the phone, I almost stopped to take a look at it yesterday....glad I didn't.

So much for that "above average testing" as if the T720 wasn't bad enough...now there is the 8900 abortion. But I am really glad they are taking their time testing that Slider........

the Slider seems to be working find on the Sprint network through Virgin Mobile, so there shouldn't be any issues if Verizon releases it, knock on wood.

I don't know...if the Kyocera reps and not providing the Verizon CEOs with ample gifts and expensive evenings out, we may never see it. Remember, this is America.
