According to the POS manual, there should be a "D" present in the main display screen if the phone is working in digital mode. I've had my 8600 for several weeks and have yet to see it. Does anyone have it showing? |

it displays a 1x instead. the 1x means that it is in digital mode. (1x is a digital mode with a higher data rate than what the old 'D' had)
