Default Need help for vision-impaired user

Does any manufacturer provide a high contrast set of buttons and faceplate that might better be seen by a person with vision limitations? Certainly one cannot expect a cell phone to have oversize buttons the way a desk phone might. But my relative has a hard time discerning the numbers and letters on the buttons when the buttons have the same color background as the faceplate (for example on my Sanyo 4900), or when the contrast is not stark enough. Her current phone has black lettering on white buttons against a black faceplate. She wishes to switch to a carrier offering better connectibility for her calling patterns, but she would have to leave her current phone behind. Five carriers have been contacted for phones with great enough physical contrast and none were able to suggest a replacement phone that provided enough contrast for her to choose the right buttons.

Does anyone have any experience searching out phones for sight impaired users? Does anyone have a particular model to suggest? Thanks for any help you can offer.

The LG VX440 Does not neccesarily have big buttons but it does display them really largely on teh Main Display screen when dialing and recieving. The only carrier that I am aware of that has this phone is verizon wireless, you might want to check that one out because of the display, it's about 129.
