Program Voice Mail Password

With my Motorola V60 I was able to program the password for my voice mail - so I never had to physically enter the code when retrieving messages. When I select the 'mail envelope' it dials *86 but then I have to enter my code.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

by dialing *86 you will always have to enter your password. (With Verizon you always have to enter your password when you call voicemail) The way you can get around this is setting up a speed dial to call ur voicemail. here is what you do: say your phone number is 012-345-6789 and your voicemail password is 5555. you want to save the phone number 0123456789(insert a timed pause here, u do this by hitting menu and selecting timed pause)5555#


So when you have fiished entering the phone number it will look exactly like this 012-345-6789T5555#

now save this number as "Voicemail" or something like that in ur phone book. Then you can set Voicemail as speed dial 1 (this can be done by going into phonebook -- speed dial -- select slot #1 (or another slot if you so choose) and then go to the group 'All' and find Voicemail) and whenever you need to get your voicemail you just hold down the number 1, and it will call your voicemail and enter the password for you!

I know this looks realy long and painstaking but it really isnt so bad. Let me know how it goes, if you have any problems ill try and help ya out
