display settings

my new audiovox 9155-gpx was an old phone of a friend. on standby, the phone display switches from "verizon wireless" to her name, similarly, when i turn the phone on, her name is displayed. i've cruised the manual and tried everything i can think of but cannot change the display settings.

can someone help?

I don't have the menu's for the 9155 in front of me, but if you can go into display settings and look for "banner" or "idle banner" I am guessing she has put her name in there. Just remove it or replace it with whatever you want and you won't have to see her name anymore.
