Default getting an Audiovox 9500?

Well, after many weeks of indecision, I finally concluded that the 9500 was the phone for me. The Verizon store in my neighborhood (Brooklyn, NY) actually has them in stock. But there's no more rebate! In other words, the price, even with a two-year contract, is $149.00. Does anyone know of a source that still sells the phone for less?

If Verizon doesn't have the rebate anymore I don't think you will find it for less elsewhere. In my opinion $149 for that phone is well worth it, but I realize that that is a lot of money. You are lucky you found a store that has it in stock...once they run out eBay will be your only hope and they usually sell for $200=$250 there.

Unfortunately, with the phone being phased out, it is unlikely VZW would put a rebate on it. OTOH, I suppose it's possible that with the new phones coming out, certain marlkets might do something like that to get rid of old stock. I'd talk to customer service and say you wanted to get the phone but missed the rebate and is it going to be offered again because you'd buy it if it is. You never know what a motivated sales person or manager might do.

That's good advice Suliman, to get or keep your busniess they might be willling to give you a $100 "credit" to your account to use toward the purchase of the 9500 if there is no way to get a rebate anymore.
