Maximilian... I don't know many people who own this phone, but everyone I know who does loves it. I've never had any experiences with it myself, so unfortunately, I can't help you any. Sorry =)

My sister has one and likes it. I think there are two reasons for lack of posts on this phone. First, it has been around a while and I wouldn't be surprised if it's on the way out. Second, the flashier phones with the most features are getting the most attention. |

I have been using the Audiovox CDM-9155 for about 7 months now and it has been a great little phone. No, it is not the "coolest" phone in Verizon's lineup (I think it is now discontinued) but it does a great job of making and receiving calls in weak signal areas. The 99 memory phonebook (two numbers and one e-mail address per memory) is fine for me. The '9155 works great for SMS. Haven't done much with web access. The speakerphone volume is a bit low but when used in a quiet room it does work. On a full charge, I get well over 100 minutes of talk time or about 60 hours standby time in a digital area. I wish the ringer was just a bit louder - vibrating alert is great for dinner dates and going to the movies. I have been looking at the color phones like the Audiovox CDM-9500 but I prefer a "stick" style phone over a "flip" style. There are a lot of phones out there that have more features but for now I will keep my basic CDM-9155. |
