Stay away from the T720. The LG VX4400 is popular and well-liked by most people. There are a couple of bad things that I hear about, such as distortion from external speaker, kind of flimsy flip hinge, etc. The new Samsung A530 is coming out very soon, but that doesn't support analog cellular (so if you ever find yourself in analog areas, this phone won't work). It's been hyped for a long time and is finally coming out. Had some problems in Verizon's field testing and was pushed back several times. There will be a lot of new phones debuting in the next several months, but that's all I know of for color flips right now. Too bad you can't get your hands on a 9500. I have one and I love it. PS - All this is said assuming that you're with Verizon.

As of today, the Audiovox 9500 is not on the Verizon Website in NYC. Too bad, I had delayed getting it for a long time and now I may lose out. I'm looking to get a good flip or folding phone and like the idea of the speakerphone for the occasional phone calls I get while driving. Any ideas for another phone (for Verizon) if 9500 is gone forever? |

As of today, the phone is no longer available on the web in the Boston or Southern New Hampshire areas either. Such a shame...
