Default 8900 Mystery Icon

When I swapped my broken 8900 for a new one yesterday, I ended up an persistent icon on my screen that doesn't show up in the manual:

Bigger:

There are no voice memos, and besides, the voice memo icon looks like this:

They didn't know at the Verizon store what it meant. They transferred my number to a different phone, and it showed up there as well, so it seems to have travelled with my account vs. being stored in the phone.

My son, with imagination, thought it had something to do with BlueTooth (the blue thing hanging out of the guy's mouth), though there is a different icon for BlueTooth, and this phone isn't BlueTooth Compatible.

Any clues?

You are correct NokiaKrazy, it is the auto-answer feature. In the menu, select settings; others; answer options;auto answer to turn it off.

It's the Aquaman icon... in the little picture it's Aquaman communicating with the various sea creatures he uses to defeat the Legion of Doom. If you're ever in trouble near the sea or a lake you can use this feature on your phone to summon crabs and sea urchins to help. You're lucky, they discontinued that feature after the first run because too many people kept accidentally using it and were being attacked by poisonous sea slugs. Just remember to use the keyguard feature or you may end up with a sea slug on your front steps!

Crazy about the 252. The 3585i was getting tired. Hard to press the number 4 and the software would lock up every once in a while. The Audiovox was on sale. When the rebate comes back, I paid $0.00 for it.

That's true, someone does have too much time on their hands... they also spent the majority of their formative years watching bad cartoons.
