Which one do you think is better? I was thinking of buying the 9500, but i already have the v60i. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. From my research as well as ownership of the v60i, I would say go ahead and get the cdm 9500 if you value a color screen, great reception, etc. However, the battery is pretty poor on the cdm 9500. dan |

Ive had this phone for about three weeks now. I had it on standby for a good 36 or 40 hrs and i still could talk on it (this was over new years... no charger, too drunk) As long as you arent playing games or leaving it open, theres not as much of a problem as most people say there is. Sure the battery life is short comparitively speaking, and if you do have it open and playing games or whatnot, expect it to run down quite quick without the extended battery. But for normal use, theres not really that much of a problem. And a car charger would sure help that time too, sense the battery seems to charge quickly also. Theres my two sense (or is it cents?)

Depends what you want. If your phone is now doing everything you need it to do., why change. I have the 9500 and it's great for me because it is the best phone for pulling in a weak signal and having a clear conversation under those conditions. The battery issue is overstated as another poster wrote and is not the fault of the phone but rather the low Mah level of the standard battery. In any event, the purchase of either of the two extended batteries on the market (1050 or 1400 Mah) solves that issue. I would be hard-pressed to change to another model as the 9500 is doing everything I need it to do - while almost everything. A tall, blond Swedish woman with expert massage skills would take care of the rest. Suliman |

If you've been using the Motorola phone then you should be used to crummy battery life and the limited battery on the 9500 shouldn't be an issue for you. Buy the extended battery and you've not only got a better phone, but one with terrific talk and standby time.
