Will AT&T be able to transfer contacts from our Verizon phones or will we have to manually do this? I know the two companies use two different technologies.

Your new carrier has the hardware and software to transfer contacts between most modern phones. One item in use is the CelleBrite machine.

Thanks! I actually figured out that I could back all of our families contacts on my computer quite easily via bluetooth.
