I just got my AT&T bill today and I had a whole bunch of false data usage charges. There were numerous twice-daily charges at odd times of the day. These charges started, oddly enough, at the beginning of the billing cycle and continued even through today. A customer service rep kept telling me that I must've accidentally accessed the Internet, even though there were so many charges and even though that my cell phone has a keypad lock and requires several steps to access the Internet. Did anyone else have a similar problem? |

Yes! I have this same problem. It doesn't add up to be a whole lot, but nonetheless, the charges are NOT mine. I turn my phone off every night! And then my bill shows up with data charges from 3:00 & 5:00am! My phone's not even ON at those times! This is ridiculous! When do we get to find out if there is a class-action lawsuit?

I haven't decided whether to start compiling a list of consumer victims yet. But after months of research among users, it appears that the problem stems from Video Share Pay Per Use. If you have this feature on your account (it should appear as a $0.00 item on your bill), then that is likely the culprit. See here for more info.
