Default Living without 850 band (TAMPA)

Hey all, I have for a long time been interested in getting the Sony Ericsson K810i because of its styling. However it is a triband phone and does not have the 850 band. I am well aware that using this phone could cause a huge lack of service in some areas, but has anyone tried to use a triband phone in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area? I've looked at some coverage maps and it shows that the area is covered by both 850 and 1900, just wondering how bad it would actually be in this area if anyone knows from experience.

Thanks for any help.
