I'm now using a Motorola V180 for a use that must not have a camera (federal court buildings). My home has marginal reception. The V180 has been fine until lately so needs to be replaced. I also have a Motorola Razr V9 for another use and it (usually) works fine at home. Can you recommend a non-camera phone with very good reception and voice quality? Thanks... |

I would suggest a Nokia... perhaps the 2610. Nokias are well known for their good reception. I have tried the Samsung A137, a non-camera phone. I did not like the reception on that phone. I see cameraless phones are scarce on the AT&T site. I saw the Nokia 2610, the BlackBerry 8820, and the Samsung A137...and the Nokia and Samsung I mentioned are sold as GoPhones... so they can be had for $40 or less if you buy the prepaid kit. Thanks! I had a Samsung for a short time a few years ago and returned it because of poor voice quality. I'll see if the local AT&T store has a Nokia 2610 (and make sure I can return it if it's not good in my location). Quote:

Another good non-camera Nokia is the 6030. It has been around earlier than the 2610. COtech
