Cingular under Edge Mobile won 21 PCS licenses for $184,397,000 or $.82 per POP MHz. Cingular will use these airwaves for extra calling capacity and highspeed data services like W-CDMA and HSDPA in the future. Cingular Wireless Affilate Edge Mobile, LLC CW-BTA036-C3 Bellingham, WA CW-BTA038-F Bend, OR CW-BTA089-C4 Colorado Springs, CO CW-BTA106-C4 Dayton-Springfield, OH CW-BTA110-C5 Denver, CO CW-BTA149-C4 Fort Collins-Loveland, CO CW-BTA226-C4 Kansas City, MO CW-BTA298-C3 Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN CW-BTA319-C4 New London-Norwich, CT CW-BTA324-C4 Norfolk-Virginia Beach, VA CW-BTA329-C4 Oklahoma City, OK CW-BTA331-C3 Olympia-Centralia, WA CW-BTA350-C3 Pittsburgh, PA CW-BTA350-C5 Pittsburgh, PA CW-BTA353-F Pocatello, ID CW-BTA361-C5 Poughkeepsie-Kingston, NY CW-BTA374-C4 Richmond-Petersburg, VA CW-BTA376-C5 Roanoke, VA CW-BTA385-E Roseburg, OR CW-BTA408-C5 Sarasota-Bradenton, FL CW-BTA451-F Twin Falls, ID Will Edge keep any vested interest in these licenses or just in the areas where they operate as Edge?? |

Since they are so dispersed throughout the country I would imagine Cingular will use them on their own. Now, I imagine the C1, C2 and C3 is C block split into three 10Mhz blocks, but C4 and C5 means it is split into two 15Mhz blocks. Can someone clarify this?
