My school's email address qualifies for the faculty and student discount. I was wondering how this program works and have a few questions.

1. Do I have to be the primary account holder (and have the primary line) in order to get a discount for my family's entire share plan?

2. Do I have to pay the bill each month (hence being the primary account holder) in order to continue receiving the discount for the FS plan? Or can the primary holder be my dad?

3. Can we go into a store and buy four phones now, and then once we decide if AT&T is for us, call in and get the discount added after the fact (but before the 30 day trial is up)?

With AT&T, you don't have to be the primary acct holder but you should be able to qualify for a discount based on your employer's discount. Just show your id at any AT&T store and they shoul dbe able to activate your discount. It would be easier if you call your IT people to get your FAN number (the corporate account discount number) so you can add it when you go into the store.

It usually takes 1-2 months for the dicount to kick in, but you'll be set.

1. Depends on the company. Some companies might require you to be the primary account holder. Some might not.

3. You can add that discount whenever.
