Default AT&T Outgoing Server Problem?

This morning, my POP3 account is receiving E-mail but not sending, It has to be their server (cwmx), since if it was my phone or my roadrunner server, then receiving would not work either.

Does anyone know of an issue or outage with the cwmx outgoing server?

Thanks Much

I'm not sure if there is an issue with the cwmx SMTP server, but if your e-mail provider supports authentication for their SMTP server on a different port (such as 587 or 465), you should be able to send e-mail through them directly. I know that the free AIM & G-Mail accounts support this and I've heard that roadrunner may support this as well.

Thanks Blue

As I told our fellow forumite, the E-Mail Gods are against me today. CWMX seems to be still down & my GMail outgoing has not worked in the last 3 hours either.

Once something starts working I will give it a try. I may need your help if you don't mind
