so my friend doesnt receive pic anymore......they always come in viewmy message.com texts......is it a simple call to AT&T to change it to the regular MMS?

Should be - if your friend used to receive MMS to the phone, then it sounds like something has gotten messed up on at&t's end in his account provisioning for MMS, etc.

Can't hurt to double check phone settings either, but if he hasn't changed anything I wouldn't expect that to be the problem.

well he was a legacy Blue AT&T Wireless customer and upgraded to Cingular with one of the Lg CU series phones...........after the Cingular name changed back to AT&T he got the Blackjack II

you would think someone would have caught the provisioning error by now

Sometimes the provisioning for MMS seems to get messed up just due to feature changes.

For example, if your friend recently changed his messaging plan the problem could have been created then. Moving to an unlimited individual or family messaging plan has caused numerous problems with MMS provisioning in the past, especially where the change was made by the user via their on-line account access.

yeah OLAM does seem to have trouble getting things right on the first try dont they
