Default gophone coverage?

Hi
Is ATT going to allow prepaid customers to roam, like T-Mobile did?
I would consider switching from TO GO to GoPhone, but I can't let go the roaming ability I get.. It's quite important for me when I travel.. Although ATT gets a bit better coverage in my area because of 850 MHz, T-Mobile is doable.. So any news on that?

Default Re: gophone coverage?

Only the GoPhone Pick Your Plan has off network roaming, so this is the plan you'd want if roaming is what you need. The pay as you go plan is restricted to AT&T towers....

Remember, if an AT&T signal is available, you will likely not be able to select a different network, regardless of plan.
