My sister recieved an email from Palm with an offer for it, She is suppose to order it today or tomorrow, once she get's it and use's it for a couple of day's I will have her let me know how it is, she travels the country alot & could give me a decent idea of the Rf & such.

Very nice! I will be interested to hear what she has to say about it! I also think she should get a wireless headset so she can take advantage of the Bluetooth capabilities in it!

The offer she showed me included a free headset as well as free shipping, price reduction for upgrading a palm unit & some other stuff.

for those that may not know, PalmOne increased the price of the Unlocked Treo650 to $699, up from $599 yesterday. Thats just an FYI...

The Treo 600 was horrible... which was disappointing. I hope the 650 is better because I really like it. Laptop Magazine gave it a good review so I imagine it's improved. If I remember right it's $450 at Cingular.

My sister didn't go with the offer from Palm for some wierd reason, But she was suppose to go to a Cingular store to get it today, I called my friend that is a Manager there & they got 4 in yesterday & was holding one for her. As soon as she calls me to let me know how she made out I will let everyone know what she thinks of it.
And yes it's 499 with a 50.00 rebate on a 2 yr contract, making it 449.00.

i used the treo650 for a couple of days, i didnt get to use the corp email feature but i was able to access the net just as easily and quickly as the 600.

i did not find any games on the 650 either. i had a problem hearing the other person most of the time. so if you are hard of hearing this is not the phone for you, and yes i did move the phone around my ear to see if i had it positioned incorrectly.

i was previously excited to use the 650, but after 2 days i lost interest. and somehow i had problems getting the damn ringer to work. it was very easy to customize but the one thing i didnt like, was having to unlock after a few min to use the device

Did you try it with the bluetooth headset? I know my sister got this with her phone, of course I am still waiting to hear from her on what she thinks of the phone. She promised me feedback after using it a couple of days.

no , i don't have one, i was just too lazy to take one off the shelf, plus i would not wanna sell it after using it.

Well I checked in with my sister today & she loves the phone, she has no problems with it & use's the Bluetooth for her headset. I talked to her for over a half hour & the call was clear the entire time with no problems on her side either. She said had no problems transfering her info from her old Palm & it works flawlessly. I will checking with her every so often on the phone.

Great to hear, I would like to get that phone, but don't really want to spend the money on it right now!

I like the Treo 650 a lot and after trying it I fell in love with it. I'm glad she likes the phone, too because it would be disappointing to hear a bad review.
