Has anybody heard any news yet on whether or not AT&T has started to integrate Dobson's towers into AT&T?

I have not heard anything new, and my phone still says CellularOne. I hope it is soon as they only have about three more months of nice weather before they can fry an egg on the panels.

I have heard of plans to slowly change NID to 410 in some areas but in other there is alittle overlaping towers than need to be consolidated before it can happen.

Slowly but wont affect you for awhile. You not in bad shape because you have no Native AT&T near you so your not affect as much as Cellular Freaks folks are. I bet if you Drove to Alpena you might get locked on the old Cingular license saver site by the mall. I dont know if they turn that off or not, but its 410 and your phone will prefere it over the tons of former Cell One towers in the area.

Images: 38 | So are you saying that in areas that have both AT&T and Dobson, they will probably get rid of one or the other? Three of those areas being Midland, Bay City, and Saginaw correct? Because they only have very minimal Dobson towers. But I would imagine in areas that are just plain Dobson that they would begin to convert to 410 right?

your RAZR will tell you the MNC...... 410 happens to be AT&T so all you can tell is what company owns the tower you are using

Images: 38 | Normally, on most Motorolas you can go into the Network part of the menu and find the System Select part, but since you have the V3xx, that means you must have AT&T, so that also means you won't be able to access that because AT&T disables that feature on their phones. From my personal experiences, only unlocked phones allow you to see this list of networks and their network IDs.

I believe some were. I tried to unlock a few of mine and always got error messages. A phone can be unlocked but an operator can still limit some functions, On Alot of Cell ONe phones minus the few Motos I have had have had the Network selection option removed. |

Some carriers have the ability to flash the phone for Network selection.
