I racently purchased a Razr Vx and it's unlocked. I have AT&T and I can't get the phone onto Media Net. AT&T told me there's nothing they can do about it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what to do. I really love this phone and I don't want to have to return it for this problem. THANKS |

Have you already checked your phone's settings for GPRS (MediaNet)? You can use this link to do so. (I presume you may have the V3xx, but if not you should be able to use this as a guide - although your menu options may be slightly different.) Browser/Internet Settings Also, you'll need MediaNet service provisioned to your account on at least a "pay per use" basis or within a MediaBundle plan. |

I haven't had any problems with GPRS access today, but apparently that network has been down for many. Perhaps your issue is related to that? Or have you been trying to access MediaNet for more than just today?

Okay...I called and got someone who new what he was doing and was a big help. I can get onto media net now but I cannot download ringtones! It says that media net does not support my phone! I think I may go crazy if one more thing goes wrong |

| One of the many risk when purchasing an unlocked phone. If you have a data cable you can always download .mp3 files that are chopped down to 30 seconds and transfer them to your phone.

Have you tried to download from the At&t Site to your phone? For the type of phone you can choose the V3i or the V3, I don't know if V3xx would work being a 3G phone. I was able to download to my ulocked & unbranded PEBL by choosing SLVR and for the 6131 by choosing 6126. If this does nor work then ofcourse it would be the cable option.
