Default Cingular 8125

I need some help. I have a cingular 8125 and I am having problems with it, when I send an e-mail it does not store a copy in the sent files on the device. It does not save a copy of a deleted file either. and if I sync the device it still will not save the deleted files or the sent files. I need copies of tmy sent file on my 8125, if I am out of the office I need access to sent e-mails for references. Is there anyon that can help me

I lookedthings over and may be actual users might be of more help. But from what I see is when you set your mail account on it there is also a storage option in there. I can't find gthe actual option in that tab but you might want to try and edit the configuration, then go to storage options and see if you can set it to keep copies and may be also forward a copy to your email account. Also when you forward an email to yourself, creat a rule that relocates it into your inbox (on the server side) so you donet see end up with 2 copies of the s,ae email on your 8125.

Open messaging
select menu
Tools
options
select "message" tab
make sure you have a check in the "keep copies of sent items in sent folder.

This is how my 8125 is set up and the sent emails are automatically saved ...good luck
