AT&T uses GSM and they are in the process of rolling out a UMTS/HSDPA network
T-Mobile uses GSM and they are working on a UMTS network
Verizon uses CDMA and they are going to eventually begin rolling out an LTE network
Sprint uses CDMA and they are in the process of rolling out a WiMax network

i have a feeling that ATT will have LTE before anyone else gets to it, as UMTS is supposedly a Backbone for it, and CDMA is not. hopefully i dont get flamed for being wrong, but when i did a little research this is what i thought i found.

yeah it is....LTE is an attempt to get on track with the rest of the world......GSM is an international standard and the world is headed toward LTE after GSM anyway....so if they are gonna change networks then they might as well really change it.....
