Literally about 1 mile from my house. I couldn't see it though, which is why I missed it being built obviously. Coverage was accepatable in the area closest to the roads I travel, but it really helps solidify coverage to the MD border. I'm excited, even though I don't have them anymore. That means Cingular is the only carrier to work from the MD border all the way through, Verizon used to, but apparently doesn't anymore (my a920 had no service in some of those areas). Way to go Cingular, definitely has the most rural and urban coverage in Delaware!

Images: 3 | Well Sprint CS irritated me today with my broken phone, but no way. For $33 a month I get ALOT. It's worth 1-2 dropped calls a month and weak service in some areas (even while roaming). While Cingular may have 5/5 bars everywhere I go now probably, it's just not worth the cost. I'd pay easily $70 or more for this type of plan with Cingular. That being said, CDMA (VZ and Sprint) in Delaware really needs to catch up to Cingular GSM. That said, nice price on the w810 |

For me the bargain isn't the anytime minutes, its the M2M. I just recently switched to a Familytalk plan witm more minutes, and added a line for my mom, so that bumped my bill up . I estimate my monthly bill will now be around $90, and I talk about 1,500 min/mo and have unlimited data on my line. Here's a list of everyone I talk M2M:
These people make up about 90% of my calls. If I switched I'd need a plan with at least 1600 anytime minutes, and I would be spending hundreds on wireless service. Not to mention the degradation of service I would experience. Cingular is the only carrier that works at my Mom's house. -Jay |

This is good news, I did have a small problem in that area last June, so I can look forward to full coverage all the way to the track next year. I do see how it's hard to leave Sprint for the cost, but if you keep having problems with coverage, it might be worth checking them out again. I really am suprised that Verizon is poor down there, it doesn't seem right but I am not arguing, you live there & know better. |

Cingular has built so many new sites in the area I live in the in the last year I gave up trying to keep up. My last count was 19 in the county I live in alone. Supposedly there are a total of 70 new sites going up in the market I live in. Half the sites going up this year in Michigan are in the market I live in. In another year Cingular just may be the best choice around here.
