I really need help with my new phone! I just bought an unlocked Motorola L6 from eBay. It is a tri-band phone (900/1800/1900). Cingular told me that I will get a signal and so far I have been able to make calls. The problem is that I can not configure my browser. My phone is apparently from overseas and is set up differently than the one on the Cingular tutorial. I tried to purchase a ring tone and never received the message. My web browser does not work and I do not know how to set it up. Does anyone know how to configure my L6 to work in the United States? I'd REALLY appreciate help - I am clueless and frustrated! Thank you!!! |

You should be able to get the settings from the cingular forum in the link below. It's definitely not advisable to use a phone that does not have the 850 band with cingular. But, you phone is one of those that can be modified to make it have the 850 band. You should find what you need to do in howardforums. You are better off cut/paste your post and post it in the forum below. http://howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50 |
