Default GPS on Cingular 8125?

Hi all. I'm new to this Forum, in fact I'm new to Windows Moble. I've always used Palm in the past (currently a Treo 600) and am considering purchasing a Cingular 8125. I am just wondering if it is compatable with GPS and, if so, what your experiences with the various GPS products that work with Windows Moble are. Thanks in advance.

We have this device at work and it is pretty sweet. I have checked into the GPS functionality and there is no built in functionality. You can buy an external GPS receiver that piggybacks off the 8125. I don't have the link where I saw it anymore, but if I run across it I will post it. The HP6515 has built in GPS navigation functionality though. The drawback to the 6515 is that is uses Windows Mobile 2003 and not 5.0. And HP is not offering an upgrade to 5.0.

Are there any more specifics (GPS &/or Software) available for utilizing GPS with the 8125?

Yeah it works with most Bluetooth enabled GPS devices, microsoft streets is a great app. Been researching this a bit, there's a ton of options out there as far as software is concerned and more than a handful of gps receivers, been wanting to get one myself.

Thanks for the reply, is there a GPS unit that use the mini USB vs. Bluetooth? My Bluetooth is usally driving my handsfree earpiece.

Dunno, but the 8125 can use more than one device at a time.
