Default Anyone have 6 phones on family plan?

I've seen on another forum that Sprint will allow exceptions to their family plan. Others there have 6, 7, even up to 10 phones on one family plan. I have 6 members in my family. My phone just died and I am thinking of merging from old ATT to Cingular. My current family plan has 3 phones on it. My triplets just turned 13 and are clamoring for their own phones. So I am wondering if anyone has a Cingular family plan with more than the 5 line maximum?? Thanks

I just got off the phone with Cingular. They said I would need a $1000 deposit if I do not have a business Tax ID number (which I don't) to enroll in a 6 line small business account. Any other ideas?

Try a different carrier...don't limit yourself to one company if they require so big of a deposit.

We have a cabin in SE Ohio. We have tested other carriers there, but Cingular is the only signal we can get (with a Wilson antenna). So we will have to stay with Cingular.

Either 2 seperate FT plans or 1 phone on a seperate plan and the other 5 on the FT plan are you best bets.

What's your hobby? My Mom used to make jewlery as a hobby, and wanted to get into the wholesale shows to buy settings, beads, gems, supplies, etc. She created a business (J&R Imports), printed some business cards, then submitted an application for a tax ID. She had it in a couple of weeks. All it cost her was a few minutes of her time, & a stamp. That was 20 years ago. You can apply online now, and print out a tax ID # in minutes.
