Default V3 Razr Rebate Question

On Cingular's website, they now list the V3 black or silver 149.99 - 50.00 rebate for 99.00 total.

This must be pretty new.

My question: The rebate states "qualified plan", and my question is a 9.99 added line to a family plan a "qualified plan"?

I called customer service, and got sales...the guy I spoke to said yes, but he seemed a little pushy and wanted me to activate then and there...like a punk working 100% off of commision. So...I don't put much faith in his answer.

Anyone know...would the 9.99 add a line constitute a "qualified plan"?

I hope so, I want to try and do the same with my plan.

Default Re: V3 Razr Rebate Question

The way I read the T&C's of the rebate you can get up to 5 rebates for this phone.

Terms and Conditions: A) Cingular VISA Reward Card Offer valid only with the purchase of a qualified Cingular device with activation on a qualified service plan from a participating Cingular Wireless Retail Store,
DMDR, Authorized Agent, Affiliate or Cingular.com between December 1, 2005 and December 31, 2005. Resellers, distributors, and their immediate families, as well as employees of Cingular and their
agents and affiliates, are not eligible. Rebate offer limited to new service activations with 2-year agreement when purchasing from Cingular.com. B) Customer’s wireless service and required features must be active
when the offer form is processed and validated to be eligible for the Reward Card. C) A separate rebate form must be completed and mailed in a separate envelope with all requested documentation for each
purchase. Limit one rebate for each qualified device and wireless number. A maximum limit of 5 rebate submissions per person or household/address
relating to this offer, and a
maximum annual limit of 10 total Cingular promotional offers (including rebates, premiums, sweepstakes and others) per person or household/address applies. If
more than one purchase is reflected on a receipt, make a copy of the receipt for each submission. D) Please keep a copy of ALL materials submitted for your claim. E) All offer submissions must be postmarked by
January 31, 2006 and received by February 14, 2006. Please allow 10-12 weeks for fulfillment of valid rebate requests. F) Cingular and Fulfillment Company assume no liability for lost, late, damaged,
misdirected, or postage-due mail or requests that fail to be properly delivered to the address stated on the order form for any reason. Illegible or incomplete requests will not be honored. Void where prohibited or
restricted. Sale, trade, assignment or purchase of this rebate form or proof of purchase is prohibited. Use of multiple addresses or multiple P.O. Boxes to obtain additional rebates is considered fraud, will be deemed
void and invalidate all submissions, and may result in prosecution under U.S. Mail Fraud Statute (18 USC Sections 1341-1342). G) Offer valid while supplies last. Rebates do not apply to used/refurbished handsets or
on insurance/warranty claims. I) VISA Reward Cards are issued in maximum $50 increments. The VISA® Reward Card is not redeemable for cash and may not be used for cash withdrawal at any cash-dispensing
locations or automated gasoline pumps. VISA Reward Card is non-transferable and non-refundable. Funds are available at US locations only for 120 days after Reward Card issuance, through the "Good Thru" date on
the card. Offer may not be available with other rebates, offers or promotions. Mail in rebate is not available if discounts provided at the point of sale bring the sale price of the device to or below $0.

I know Fire, I thought the same thing. When they say up to 5 per houshold, you ASSUME that would mean 4 of thouse would be 9.99 plans.

I ask the question because if you look at the Wirefly, Amazone, etc rebates, the specifically state a plan 39.99 or higher...49.00 or higher etc.

I am pretty sure the added line is good for the rebate.

Now.....I add a line which is what I was thinking of ding for my soon to be 13 year old daughter anyway....I get the Razr, she most likey gets a V400 that I have that is in mint condition.
