Well I am at a loss with where the microphone is on this phone, I checked the user manuals online & they don't show it anymore.
I just joined the Nokia Forums & am posting this question there to find out where it is, before we go nuts trying to figure it out.

They won't let me join their forums, since it's for Europe only.

I will be waiting to see where you find the Mic on this phone.

No, not at this time. I haven't been a big fan of the looks of the Nokia Flips & I like modding the Moto's as well as have been very happy with the last few Moto's I have had.

I'm not an expert in battery technology, but apparently both are correct. As walkguru says, the batteries currently being shipped in the CU500 are marked "Lithium-Ion Polymer". The LG USA site also says this.

I'm certainly not getting 5 hours of use on mine, although I guess 5 hours talk time is possible. It turns the screen completely off pretty quickly during a call (a minor annoyance sometimes), presumably to save the battery. Since a lot of my use is Web browsing, that big bright screen drains the battery pretty fast.

I estimate I'm getting 2-3 hours of use over 2 days with maybe 25% of that being Web browsing, 10-20 pictures, minor amount of SMS, the rest talk.

.

You are not going to find much about the V1150 in the Motorola site because they renamed it to V3x. Those are outdated documents from pre-release. If you look at the specs you'll see that's now called V3x. Same phone. It already came out overseas last year. It's all over the Internet. Even Engadget says the same thing.

I have been a customer of another carrier and I am goign to switch over to Cingular in Feb.

Welcome to WA! Bobolito is usually pretty good about digging up info on new models for Cingular, I think he's working on a new list right now. When you do switch to CIngular PM me and I'll register you on their referral site and you'll get a $25 Cingular gift card.

Later, Jay

I understand that the above was from a September post, but I thought it was interesting that in CNET's review picture, the color scheme and keyboard look somewhat different than in this picture. Also, they claim it will be available on Nov 16th for $400 with a 2 year contract.
