It doesn't show as available today in 02138 (in or out of stock). Is it only out in some parts of the country? SW

I checked the Phonescoop and HoFo forums on the Nokia N75. Some people successfully ordered it in the short time it was available on the site. Apparently everyone who ordered it (at least those who reported their experiences), is being told it is on backorder. It appears that AT&T/Cingular put the page up before they actually had any stock, so it instantly went on backorder. Then they removed it from the available phones list. They are telling clients that they will have stock next week or the following week. Here's the big story on Engadget. Film at 11:00 !! Now I am wondering if the Nokia company stores are going to have it. SW

The Nokia N75 is now available on cingular.com. Interestingly, it is not listed as a Smartphone (but the Nokia E62, also a Symbian S60 device, is). Go figure. Here's the bottom line: Price ..........................$399.99 2-yr Contract Price......$249.99 Mail-In Rebate ...........- $50.00 *Online Price .............$199.99 SW |

| Yes I like it will not be as bad once you use it for a week or so (similar situation with the BB8800). But if Cingular ever comes out with a shared data plan that would be great. But I have to say their PDA data rates are getting better as we go along and the current unlimted is not bad and if you have the use of it then it is worth every penny. With my BB the use of the map apps, IM+ (for IM using data) and other data intensive programs as well as email it has been worth it big time. If this is as good as I think I might give it a try and se if it takes me away from BBs. Hopefully the OS will be stable and solid this time around.

AT&T's HSDPA capable phones are pretty big, huh? Not necessarily fat-wise, but in overall dimension. I want both the Q9 and the new RAZR2. I hope the new RAZR2 isn't bigger than my head when flipped open.
