Default Need a Replacement Phone

In my infinite wisdom I accidently took my LG 1200 swimming with me in beautiful Lake Tahoe a couple of days ago. So I need a cheap, but reliable replacement, something I can get off ebay for under $50. My only requirements are: a Color Screen, Java (I have a few games that I've bought), and polyphonic ringtones. Good RF performance would be great, since signal is weak at my parent's house.

Any help would be great!

I'm not sure if the Samsung X-427 M has Java or not, but if it does this phone would be good for you, IMO.

^^ yes, the x-427 does indeed have java, and is relatively inexpensive. For a replacement phone, you should definetly look into it.

You can go to Cingular site and pick up a Pre-Pay Samsung c207 or Nokia 3120 for $50 with free shipping. Just pop in you post-paid SIM and you are set.

The 3595 is the first phone that came to mind when you said cheap and good reception .

If you are willing to spend a few dollars, the 6230 is a great phone. As for cheap, the 6010 is also a good choice.

I ended up going with the Nokia 3595, simply because it was the cheapest o ne that met all my needs.

Hopefully It'll help me out with my reception issues.

My daughter has this phone & the Rf is great in it, almost all Nokia's have excellent Rf so you shouldn't go wrong with this phone, plus they are very durable.

Yes, the 6010 is the black Nokia Cingular is selling with their GoPhone service. It is basicly a 3595 with a new faceplate.
