On Friday, January 15, 2010, AT&T announced new lower pricing on Unlimited calling plans. The new pricing is effective Monday, January 18, 2010. The new pricing offers unlimited voice plans at the same price as Verizon; however it’s important to let customers know that AT&T provides a much better value with the new plans (see below).

Prior to launch on Monday, if a customer calls and requests to change to one of the new unlimited plans, let them know that they can easily make the change themselves by visiting MyWireless Account at att.com on, or after Monday. If the customer requests that you make the change on their behalf on Monday, please follow the existing commitment policy and procedures.

Starting Monday, it is business as usual for customers who request to change to one of the new unlimited plans.

AT&T is not proactively contacting customers about the pricing changes.
