Re: Iphone for AT&T prepaid? As far as I know the original iPhone (2G) can still be used on AT&T
's prepaid service (Pick Your Plan). It was originally sold with Pick Your Plan prepaid accounts, and to my understanding there continues to be a specific Pick Your Plan data plan available for it.
AT&T
's terms do not allow the iPhone 3G or 3GS to be used with AT&T
's prepaid service. ' I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant. ' - Robert McCloskey

Re: Iphone for AT&T prepaid? I am using the original iphone on an AT&T
pick-your-plan account.
They charge
the 'regular' voice rates (I pay $30 for 200 min/mo), plus $20/mo for iphone/unlimited-data features.
Supposedly, it can be done on the pay-as-you-go plan as well, but they don't recommend you do it because you have to add the data feature EVERY MONTH, otherwise you get billed per KB....
