I stopped in my local ATTicon wireless store to ask some questions about my new phones and see if any accessories were on sale. They had some good deals-- if I still had my T62u I would be snapping up batteriesicon for a dollar apiece!

They were in the process of changing over all the signage in the store. They said they weren't supposed to do it until after 5, but they started a bit early. I am wondering what will be announced tomorrow...

Tomorrow is considered Day 1 & we all will find out what the incentives to switch phone will be, M2M will be considered official as of tomorrow (even though it has been for a couple of weeks & what plans they may have as well as the phones. Other then that i am interested to hear as well.

So would it be a bad if I were to buy a new ATT phone? My current ATT phone broke and I dont think my company's National Discount plan applies to Cingular so I may buy another ATT phone. Or should I just pay the normal price to get a Cingular phone?

I would say call NBO & get another phone thru AT&T for now, why buy a new phone & Plan thru Cingular now and pay full price for everything.
You can stay on the AT&T plan until you decide to change over and after Jan 05 the AT&T FAN accounts will migrate over to Cingular's, so after that date when you are ready to move over you will still get the FAN discounts.
