Cingular-great customer service Today i called the warranty exchanged dept to get my silver Razr replaced and as usual i got a very pleasant rep to help me, i like how i wasn't given a hard time about what the problem with the phone was and the rep even apologized for the inconvenience, i asked the rep if it was possible to get a black Razr instead of the silver and she said no problem, talk about good customer service, now i'll have to edit my silver Razr from my avatar to reflect two black ones....

Re: Cingular-great customer service I don't know why Cingular CS gets such a bad rap. I guess when you're as bag as Cingular there are some vocal people that will never be happy. I've always had good experiences with CS.

Re: Cingular-great customer service when Joe updated the systems 2 months ago a new version was used. You have to install this feature now.

Re: Cingular-great customer service I don't know why people say Cingular's CS is so bad either. I had them for a year and a half. I had to call customer service sometimes and I usually got somebody really friendly that knew what they were doing. My issues were always resolved and quite quickly.
That being said the customer service hours at Cingular really do suck. Cingular's biggest problem is the lack of hours you can call CS. I will admit though Verizon
's CS just blows Cingular out of the water. They seem to be better trained, a bit friendlier, and go a little bit beyond what is even needed to help you. Plus Verizon
has a lot better customer service hours.
If I had to rate the two I'd rate Cingular's CS as Good and Verizon
's as Excellent.

Re: Cingular-great customer service I have had only one major major problem with Cingular's CS, other then that they have been very good. Just last week I called to see it would be worth while to change plans. But since my family is almost out of contract it wasn't. I then asked rep about my younger sister's text messaging, and the rep put her on the correct plan. Plus they were able to go back and add the plan to the previous bill, which chopped $30 off it.

Re: Cingular-great customer service Glad to hear had a good experience with CS Tony, and you are right most people take the energy to complain about something and don't take the time to give praise (which takes alot less energy) where & when it's due.

He didn't even hear about the deductible increase until I called & called Lockline to confirm it before he went further, and he answered within 1 min.
I do think they are working towards getting the reps better trained to listen & work with the customers.
