Haha. I just switched back to AT&Ticon because of coverage problems w/ Verizonicon.

All they need to do is add 2 towers in my area (like they said they would 4 years ago) and they would be golden.

How are you liking it so far?

Yea, Verizonicon is very weird in Michigan. You would think they would be the best after gobbling up Alltel, but nope.
I don't get the phone until Friday, so I will know later this week.

Vendors on ebay say no returns it is meaningless. As long as you paypal you can return the item . Just make sure you can confirm return delivery . any reputable vendor on EBAY will work with you on the return.

Ugh, I was at version 7 or something and I know it was going to force me to update so I went ahead and did it. Been putting that off for years.

yeah, I have seen bits of news here and there that Verizonicon's LTE goes down a lot. Growing pains I assume.

I hope the 4S works out for you, at least for a while. Most likely coming from Android you will find things that you like and some that you don't. It will get pretty personal on how you enjoy it.

Used to live in Ann Arbor. No clue how good ATT is there compared to Verizonicon.

Enjoy and keep us posted, or ask some questions.

Verizonicon was great in Ann Arbor, actually. EVDO was over 2Mbits. Still running on Verizonicon 3G, but I'm ok with that. Should be a fun ride.

I too ordered a iPhone 4s on Verizonicon. Having to flip airplane mode on and off to get data back, and some other bugs hasn't been fun. Also using smart actions to get you halfway through the day on the battery shouldn't be necessary.

When 4G LTE works, it is awesome. Fast speeds and fairly low ping. But in a new market, LTE is a hit or miss. I think it will be better once they finish building out their network.

$510 used on ebay, these freakin things never lose value. So strike 1: iTunes. Simply syncing photos pegged my laptop at 100% CPU and blue screened it. So thats a good start.

If the PC can't handle the load, maybe synch half your photos the first time. You can chose which ones in iTunes. And turn photo steam off until you get them first synced.

Never had this happen, but I can imagine it so.

iTunes killed my computer too. It works just fine on a Mac, but I still think iTunes + PC is a bit of a mess.

While iTunes was doing any kind of sync operation it rendered the rest of my computer almost worthless. Even when just playing music it would regularly use 30-50% of my system resources, and I have 4GB of RAM on my computer, so it isn't under-powered.

Yea that was typical iTunes. I was not using photostream, I was just syncing photos via USB. Sent my CPU 100% and the rest of the computer was not usable, eventually the GPU overheated (as it does sometimes) and blue screened. But, that is just how iTunes operates on a PC.
