iPhone users with mms capability, do you get a message with more than one type of media as one message? Example an animated gif file with background music? my friend gets it in two messages or three depending on if there is text associated with it.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean and I don't use MMS very much. If I receive a photo with a text message it comes as one (meaning the same time), but shows up as two conversation balloons; one for the photo and one for the text (which is just above the photo).

The effect is pretty nice actually, like a photo talking to you.

P.S. It seem that the MMS rollout went quite smoothly, in terms of mms going through

I don't know what to tell you. I haven't enabled MMS in my iPhone yet. I need to upgrade to 3.1 first.
