New Iphone user had a few questions

First off I need a car charger,they try to sell me one at best buy but it was like $25 bux,I seen them on ebay it says iphone generic charger for like $5 bux or so,does it really matter,Is a charger a charger?
How to use the web surfing function,you know like to google something,I didnt see just a plain web feature.
And lastly they gave me a coupon for downloading free songs from napster "I'll figure out how to do that" but my question is Can I just plug my iphone to my pc and transfer songs that are currently on my pc,kinda like a drag and drop thing? Or all songs must be bought through itunes or napster or something like that.

Ok I found out the web search safari thing,Im good there but how to I transfer songs from my pc to my Iphone,Do you need some kind of app for that?
I plugged up the iphone to the pc and it just charged,the pc never read it as any kind of storage device,Any Help?

The best way (and only way, I think)is to import your music into iTunes first. Then you can synch those songs to your iPhone with iTunes. Read the help file in iTunes about importing songs, videos, etc. It is very easy and you can burn in whole CD's that you may have.

After than, music management is very easy. If you are using a pc, it should want to install as a 'camera' device. But that is all, if I remember. The iTunes method is very easy and the best way to do this.

On Safari, you can go directly to Google. Or, as you discovered, There is a google bar already in safari. You can get to it easily by tapping the top most bar, where the time is displayed.

Ok, I got it to work,I thought I could pick and choose what songs I wanted from my itunes library on pc "I dont know you probally could" But what ever I did it loaded all 669 songs on my iphone.
Thats all good and fine,but now I dont know how to remove unwanted songs from iphone?
About 50 things it downloaded are backtracks for guitar playing,comedy clips,my kids recording there self on the recored on pc and now all these things are on the iphone,How do I delete,I couldnt see how?

You need to read the Itunes Help file about 'playlists' which are subsets of your music library. That allows you to pick which songs to place on the phone. For deleting, under itunes, just pick your iPhone icon and remove the songs you don't want.

BTW, I would go for the $25 charger. Not all chargers are the same.

Regarding insurance, Apple gives you a year's warranty, except for lost, stolen or if you dropped it. The phones are pretty well built.

I've been using the cheap $1 chargers from Ebay for months and they've been working just fine. I have one at work, one in my car and 3 in my house. The original charger is stored in my laptop bag to be used when I travel.
