I just got an email from DataViz that Documents To Go for the iPhone/iPod Touch will be coming out in the second quarter of this year.

Dataviz's Documents to go is what gives BB's the ability to read and edit Word documents, spreadsheets, etc,

Last week several members of our team were in Barcelona for the GSMA Mobile World Congress, the world's largest mobile exhibition. While there, they gave some folks a peek at Documents To Go for the iPhone/iPod Touch. The response was fantastic!

We wanted to let you all know that Documents To Go is still on track to be released in the second quarter of 2009. We'd also like to give you a look at a few screenshots so you can get a better feel for what we're up to.

Now I understand why Documents To Go for the T-Mobile G1 isn't out yet, even though DataViz has been talking about this since back in December - they've been busy with the iPhone port!! I bet I know what their next development project is.

And I'm assuming that it has cut and paste (now that wasn't hard, was it? ). I have never understood why this is an issue on handheld computers like the iPhone and the G1. Documents To Go has been one of my top applications on the Palm for years. Cut and paste was not an issue.
