I just wanted to post this to see how many people would pick the Tilt over the iphone, or iphone or the tilt. Personaly if i could go back-in-time i would pick the Tilt over the Iphone. Mainly because the iphone's keyboard is a pain in the

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as much as i like the tilt (i own a 8525) with the Day to Day that i do, using a side keyboard is not for me.

they are so different...

i picked the iphone based off the fact that though it has downfalls i am just more of a bar phone guy.

LOL Jay I knew as soon as I made this comment you would chime in. To me it is a larger phone that I would not like to carry around is all. For me brick, for others something else.

I would most likey say iphone, but jay is right the tilt is not a brick. It's a mobile office it can even do things the iphone can't

im not disputing. i dont even have an iphone and i do own a 8525.

however his statement is the same as many on this debate over function of phones. to me there is no phone that can do what every other phone can do. its pretty much fact.

so to me this thread is not a debate of function but of personal preference. saying that one phone does compared to another doesnt mean much unless both sides are considered.

i think thats why i selected iphone in the poll. i already own a 8525 which might as well be a tilt in most respects.

I wish the Tilt had video acceleration and didn't look so ugly (chrome buttons, ugh). The TyTN II has a better look. If I had to pick 1, I'd take the iPhone just because I don't do much on my phone right now, and the iPhone does a few things REALLY well. The Tilt does a REALLY large number of things well.

Plus the phones are really different anyways, so its hard to compare. The iPhone is a touch based device with an OS designed for touch. The Tilt is a stylus touch device with a clunky OS that is based on pre-touch underpinnings. It's no doubt that the Tilt has better hardware and features, but the OS lets the iPhone compete.

Iphone is alright, but if i could go back in time i would pick the tilt over the iphone, because the only thing thats better about the iphone is the internet brower. And the option of WI-FI......good old wi fi

Umm, both the iPhone and the Tilt have WiFi.
