| The iPhone is a novelty with some function, the Tilt is function with a tiny bit of novelty... Yep, I'd take both...

| | Quote: im not disputing. i dont even have an iphone and i do own a 8525. however his statement is the same as many on this debate over function of phones. to me there is no phone that can do what every other phone can do. its pretty much fact. so to me this thread is not a debate of function but of personal preference. saying that one phone does compared to another doesnt mean much unless both sides are considered. | |

| i wish they made a ITILT |

| | I wish the Tilt had video acceleration and didn't look so ugly (chrome buttons, ugh). The TyTN II has a better look. If I had to pick 1, I'd take the iPhone just because I don't do much on my phone right now, and the iPhone does a few things REALLY well. The Tilt does a REALLY large number of things well. Plus the phones are really different anyways, so its hard to compare. The iPhone is a touch based device with an OS designed for touch. The Tilt is a stylus touch device with a clunky OS that is based on pre-touch underpinnings. It's no doubt that the Tilt has better hardware and features, but the OS lets the iPhone compete. |
