The price of flash memory has dropped like a rock in the last couple of months. I'm sure all the phone manufacturers will be upping the amount of memory the phone ships with.

Altho with the iPhone the memory is built in, right?

...unlike most other phones that have microSD card slots so you can swap memory cards and upgrade easily at anytime

Of course! If they had a removable media slot then they can't sell you a new phone every time you want more memory.

If a 32GB MicroSD card is coming soon, I can forsee an iPhone with as much as 64GB of memory, if not more.

yea flash will eventually be bigger and better than harddrives, its just a matter of time, espically since it is doubling each time.

the days of big clunky full cased computers are no longer necessary. a friend of mine built his newest computer in a case thats about the size of a small shoe box.

LOL, I can remember these huge old floppy didks, like 8 or 9 inches I think. I remember asking my dad why anyone would use them. 5.25 inch floppies hold so much more data, and were smaller... Then of course our home computer only had 64k of ram. Now my home computer has 2 gb of ram. we've come a long way.

jay, funny you should metion that, im viewing the page on a 17 year old computer with windows 3.1!

386 cpu @ 33mhz!
2mb video ram!
2 gb harddrive
cd-rw, 3.5 and a 5.25 floppy of course!

those 8 inch ones came out in the late 60's
the 5.25 came out in the 70's
the 3.5, 80's
this computer is slower than most moble phones!

one thing about sd, there is a limit to it on most devices, its 32gb for sd
