Hello everybody,

I have been a prepaid customer on Alltel for about six months now. As soon as I received my phone I programmed my voice mail and it was great. Now in the past month my voice mail is no longer there. I have reset my voice mail password to try to set up again but all I get is "Please Enter Your Mailbox Number" over and over again after pushing # (Yes I have reset it to where you have to dial 9999 but i never get past the, Please enter your mailbox number after pressing #). I have done all the network upgrades as well in my area. I have called Alltel customer support and it took roughly thirty minutes to get to tech help. The tech help guy was friends and said he would call me back. He never did and my voice mail still keeps saying "Please Enter Your Mailbox Number" over and over. If anybody has any insight on this problem I would greatly appreciate any advice/help.

Thanks,

Eric

I have no idea what your mailbox number might be, maybe the last 4 digits of your phone #? In any case, something is screwed up. Have you tried going into your local store, or calling tech support again?

Your mailbox number is your 10-digit cell phone number.

There must be something wrong in the system. You better talk to tech support again.
