Default Contract Upgrading

Okay, well I have a question regarding contract upgrading. Right now, my parents have the MyCircle 900 Plan. They both have upgraded their phones adding 2 years each. I have the main phone and haven't upgraded it yet. What I was wondering is if we could upgrade the contract to the MyCircle 1000 Plan to get the 1000 free bonus texts? Would there be any restrictions that would hold us back in the MyCircle 900 Plan? Would there be any extra charges? Do we have to add more years to the contract again? Thanks for reading!

I HATE the word contracts. They are actually Service Agreements (SA).

To answer the questions though: What price plan you are on has absolutely nothing to do with the SA dates. You can change plans when you feel like, and not extend SAs even one day. The only thing that causes SAs to be placed on a line is when you upgrade equipment at less than retail price. This is true with both Alltel AND VZW.

So feel free to change to whatever Alltel plan you want. There is nothing holding you back.
