Default Call Transfer From Alltel Cell Phone

Call Transfer, a great feature on my Vonage phone,

but now we're considering getting rid of Vonage and going 100% wireless,
Vonage is $45 per month for us and it is rarely used.

The only reason we have Vonage is for the call transfer feature to the cell phone,
and for the Virtual NJ number, which is $5/mo, So it's like we're wasting $40/mo.

Does Alltel have a call transfer feature, like * xx?
If not I hope this feature is introduced soon.

On Vonage call transfer is #90 + 1 + the area code and number.

Yes, call forwarding is *72+xxxxxxxxx, no answer transfer is *71+xxxxxxxxxx. The only difference between the two is with no answer transfer the phone rings 3-4 times then forwards instead of going to voice mail.

I think the * codes can change depending on your specific market. Its best to contact your local retail store.

I meant transferring a call thats already in progress, I guess theres no way to do that on Alltel....
Call forwarding is cool when I don't want to use my cell phone,
but lets say I want to transfer an active call from my cell to a different number, I guess this feature is not available yet....

You could just three way and when the other party picks up hang up your cell phone...at least in theory that should work.

Where does one get all these codes? There must be a simple way to get a list of them.
