Default Pic messaging problem

Within the last three weeks I have not been able to get all my picture
messages from my Alltel normal cell phone account to my Road Runner email
address. Only a few have trickled through that are anywhere from 2 weeks to
1 day old. The phone is a Samsung Muse. The feature has been working for a
couple of years and the problem started about a week after I upgraded to
this phone. The problem is very strange as both Road Runner and Alltel have
told me I'm the first one they have heard with this type of problem. I have
set up email accounts on Gmail, Hotmail, Inbox.com and Yahoo and can send a
pic/message from my cell phone to either with out any problems what so ever.
It comes through in a matter of 10 to 20 seconds. Only a very few of what
I've sent will come through to the RR email.
I can either manually or auto-forward the very same pic/message that comes
into Gmail to my RR email account and guess what... It comes through to RR
perfectly. I have talked with Alltel and Road Runner upper
level support about this. Alltel says since I can send
and receive pic/messages perfectly with all accounts except RR it would
appear that RR is the problem. Strange though is the fact that the
pic/message will come into the RR email account if forwarded from either of
the other accounts. This sort of sounds like a routing problem somewhere.
But TAKE NOTE... I can send a TEXT message to my RR email account from my
cell phone and it works perfectly!!! NOTE that all these "sending" are from
my Alltel cell phone account which has been working fine for a couple of
years. Alltel even re-activated my old phone and it did not help the
problem. The cell phone is not the problem as my wife has the same phone.
Alltel says that because I am getting into all the other accounts if proves
that it is not their problem. Does anyone here have any ideas?
I apologize for long message.
Thanks,
Rex

Well believe it or not it is working now after 4 weeks. Neither Road Runner or Alltel knows why it has started working again. Nothing has changed on my end. Oh well, I guess stranger things have happened. I'm still digging to try to find out what happened.

Thanks, Rex

I bet they had it locked as a spam filter error. I'm glad to hear all is good.

Yep, me too. Eventually figured that also after working with Alltel and Road Runner. It just made no sense otherwise. It was probably a spam blocking or maybe a routing issue. But it only affected the picture messaging which sort of led me to spam blocking but couldn't ever convince Road Runner that they might be the blocker. There thing was that they would not or couldn't block just one user and they had no reports of anyone else being affected. Now imagine that! Does that sound familiar or what? I don't use it a lot at work but it's nice to have it available.

Thanks, Rex
