Default Forwarding Text MEssages

Can I have all text messages from one phone in my plan automatically forwarded to another phone or e-mail w/out it being noticed on the original phone receiving the text?

Never heard of that being done before, but I may be wrong.

No, you can forward voice calls but not text messages.

Actually you can, but it's not just the click of a button..first you cannot just tell it to forward 'all texts to xxx destination'...
you have to go to : Text Messaging from Alltel and click sign in and create an account...
go to message filters, and go to add
from here you have to select whether you want to filter the 'to, from or subject' and put in a text in the 'contains' part. then in the next drop down box you can select 'do not send to handset but forward to email'.
from here you can either enter an email address or enter 10digitphonenumber@message.alltel.com and this will forward them to the cell phone...
ex:

if: 'FROM' field
'CONTAINS' - '1234567890'
then: 'DO NOT SEND TO HANDSET BUT FORWARD TO EMAIL'
to: '5551234567@message.alltel.com'

this way any message sent from 1234567890 will be forwarded to 5551234567...

you would have to do this for every number who is texting to you..

Wow... that's quite a process. At least this way you could get important texts from certain numbers and if you were forwarding to a non-Alltel number you could just change the to e-mail address to XXXXXXXXXX@tmomail/net or whatever.

Good info, 92 5 oh

Couldn't you put in the TO: field your ten digit phone number?
Then whatever you want in the other fields.
This would cover all texts sent to your number.
