DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZTE USA, Inc., a subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, a leading global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions, today announced that MetroPCS Communications, Inc. has signed an agreement to purchase its CDMA PCS and AWS handsets from ZTE USA. MetroPCS, the nation’s leading provider of unlimited wireless communications service for a flat rate with no signed contract, will begin selling ZTE’s high quality, award-winning handsets in stores starting in January, 2008. MetroPCS has approximately 3.7 million subscribers and offers service in the Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, Tampa, Daytona, Melbourne, Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento metropolitan areas.
