| I am a fan of the motorola e815/e816 hollywood (had this phone for a short time), i havent done much research but i kno e815 is cdma, if i was to purchase one unlocked from ebay, can i get that to work with metro pcs? now ive also seen the e816 unlocked on ebay, can that one work with metro pcs? And yes ive read some forums and i answered 1 (lol) but i since those where 3mths old i figured id start a new thread, no wise answers please im looking for serious answers..... So can the E815 / E816 unlocked be compatible with metro pcs? |

| true, Thats one down fall of CDMA Networks, No SIM cards. Which mean's you can't unlock the phone |

| Junior Member | MetroPCS is now allowing unlocked CDMA phones on their network for an extra $30 fee if I understand correctly. You can unlock the phones and most are sold unlocked. It's just really hard to get them activated on another carrier and they're often so customized as to be severely crippled on different carriers. |
